What a great scene to envision
A lake
You are there, stone skipping
A stone skips 100 times, that’s a record!
But this crosses your mind,
“What are the odds of it harming a fish?”

“Writer, you’re losing focus, stick to the scene.
Had a stone hit a fish’s head, causing it to drop dead, fish would be what I would eat.”

You’re right, speaking of it
And returning to the scene
Later, back at home,
you ate fried chicken,
purposefully harmed for feeding you,
accompanied by cornbread and crispy sweet potatoes
The coffee was reinvigorating
